Visit the London Bar and Café.

It's a restaurant that redefines dining and mixology in Soho, with French food, and creative cocktails. Building on the reputation of Coupette bar in Bethnal Green, Atelier Coupette is not just a place for dining; it's a social place celebrating flavour and art.

Atelier Coupette is not just a restaurant but an experience of taste art. Whether it’s the cocktails, the sharing menu or something special, Atelier Coupette is French chic, while taking the pulse of London’s dining scene into its stride. Whether you are a theatre buff, cocktail whiz or gourmet foodie, this Soho destination is sure to please.

Atelier Coupette: A Haven where Innovation Meets Tradition:

Atelier Coupette is named after the French word for “atelier,” which is workshop – the right name for an environment of experiments and fabrication. The bartenders and chefs in this venue collaborate to create food and drinks that taste and look great together.

The foundations of the Atelier Coupette identity:

• French Spirits: Including Calvados, Cognac, ciders and liqueurs in drinks and cuisine.

• Fresh Dish Combinations: Seasonal products and precise flavour combinations to create each bite of pleasure.

Playful Environment: Sitting down and hearing stories from bartenders and chefs as they take you on a tour of what inspired your food and drinks.

• Collaborative Excellence: Collaborations with iconic brands such as Moet Hennessy to make the experience even more special, like Champagne & Fries or Champagne & Soft Serve for £10.

The Atelier Menu: A Bouquet of Tastes

The 3-Course Winter Cocktail Pairing Menu (£45)

Developed to celebrate French spirits and fresh seasonal ingredients, the Winter Cocktail Pairing Menu takes you on a guided journey of flavourful exploration.

Entrées:

Scallops: Succulent scallops with burnt apple purée, pancetta crumb, caviar, and creamy bonito sauce. Paired with the 50/50 Harvard cocktail containing Hennessy VSOP, rich vermouth, almond, and Benedictine, a creamy, nutty partner to the sweetness and umami of the scallops.

Avocado on Ciabatta (Vegetarian): Toasted ciabatta smothered with avocado and pickled red onion. Served with the Normandie 75, a brown-buttered Sassy Fine cider, apple cordial, and Moet Chandon Brut, which translates as “apple pie in a glass.”

Mains:

• Flat Iron Steak: Sautee steak w/ butter garlic kale, confit shallots and red wine jus. This is in conjunction with the Calvados Manhattan, a hefty mix of Calvados, mild vermouth, and bitters that complements the steak’s earthy taste.

• Mac & Cheese (Vegetarian): Orzo in three-cheese béchamel, with raisin-caper purée and Parmesan crisp. Served with the 50/50 Harvard whose herbs complement the complexity of the dish.

• Brassicas (Vegan): Composed of chargrilled cabbage, tenderstem broccoli, and kale with dill yogurt. A nice match with the clean Normandie 75 that sets a light and refreshing contrast to the smoky vegetables.

Desserts:

• Pavlova: Lime curd, exotic fruits and dried strawberries in meringue. Served with Lait de Poule, a French eggnog made with Champagne liqueur, Floc de Gascon, walnuts and winter spices — a bittersweet finale.

The Sharing Menu (3 PM–6 PM)

Perfect for cocktails, a little lunch or a quick catch up, the Sharing Menu features French-inspired bites that go well with Atelier’s sexy cocktails.

Highlights include:

Koffmann’s Fries with Blue Cheese Dip (£6): Crisp, golden fries with a creamy, tangy blue cheese dip.

• Smoked Salmon Tartare (£8): It is bright, fresh, and zesty, the right match for a citrus-based cocktail.

• Quiche Lorraine (£7): Smoky lardons and custard quiche, a French classic.

• Mini Ham & Cheese Sandwich (£7): Fun twist to a bistro staple and great to share.

• Oeuf Avocado Mousse (£6): Light, fluffy vegetarian dish.

Cocktails: The Soul of Atelier Coupette

Mixology becomes art with Atelier Coupette. With the addition of French liquors and seasonal ingredients to their cocktail, Atelier Coupette elevates mixology as a science.

Signature Cocktails:

Champagne Pina Colada: Rum, coconut, pineapple, and champagne is one scrumptious, luxurious signature drink.

Normandie 75: Fruity notes and the sparkling mot of a Moet give this classic French 75 an upscale take.

50/50 Harvard: Squishy peanut riff on a firm favourite, with Hennessy VSOP and Benedictine.

Lait de Poule: Rich, wintery eggnog with French charm for dessert.

Boozeless Cocktails:

Flora-No-Ra: Everleaf Mountain, raspberry shrub, ginger for a fruity, fiery punch.

• Flower Power Sour: Apple blossom cordial and rose come together in a bittersweet mocktail.

Champagne & Fries/ Champagne & Soft Serve (£10) :

In collaboration with Moet Hennessy, Atelier Coupette also has a more indulgent but wacky offering: Champagne & Fries or Champagne & Soft Serve, for just £10. It marries the decadence of Moet & Chandon champagne with easy yet sophisticated food to ensure it’s a must-have for visitors looking for a different and affordable luxury.
